Meet Tiffany Ogdenā¦a thoughtful, caring REALTORĀ® with a real passion for helping people find their perfect, āneedle-in-a-haystackā home.
Tiffany has lived in the Baltimore area her whole life. And she began her career working as a teller, a loan officer, and eventually an assistant branch manager at a local credit union.
In those progressively meaningful roles, Tiffany enjoyed helping people in her community navigate important financial milestonesāsuch as opening a new savings account, getting a loan for their first car, or securing a second mortgage to pay for a kitchen remodel.
Of course, today, as a REALTORĀ® with The Bob & Ronna Group, Tiffany draws heavily on those formative experiencesā¦
She says, āDuring my time working at the credit union, I learned so much about the challenges faced by ordinary, working Americans. But Iām so happy I made the leap into real estate because now I get to make an even bigger difference in peopleās lives and help them see their dreams come true.ā
In fact, Tiffany went to a settlement the other day, and her client started crying when she handed her the keys to her new home. āJust to be part of that important milestone and see the tears of joy on a clientās face at settlementā¦itās why I do what I do. Itās much more than just a paycheck for me,ā she says.
Plus, a lot of Tiffanyās clients are veterans, current service members in the U.S. military, and first-time home buyers. āSo, buying a new home is incredibly meaningful for them, too.ā
Of course, no matter what the interest rate is when youāre buying a home, Tiffany recommends you āmarry the house, but date the rate.ā This means, ābuyers should focus on finding a home they love, within their budget, that they want to live in for the next 10, 20, or even 30 years. Then, they can always refinance down the road when interest rates go downā¦because we know rates fluctuate through different markets.ā
Tiffany joined The Bob & Ronna Group after a lender she had been working with raved about the team and the agents. āI am so thankful to be a part of this group. Bob and Ronna give us so much training and support. And, ultimately, it allows me to make the home-buying experience a lot more fun and exciting for my clients.ā
When not touring homes around the region, Tiffany spends time with her boyfriend, their five children, and their petsāa 23-year-old cat named Sassy and two dogs named Hannah and Willow. They especially enjoy going roller skating and ice skating, eating out (raw sushiās her favorite), and spending time at the beach. When she has some free time, Tiffany loves tackling new DIY projects and recently turned a rustic, antique ladder into a light fixture in her dining room.No matter how busy life gets, every Sunday night, Tiffany and the kids always make sure to join her parents at their house for a big, extended, family dinner.
