Meet Pam Phelpsāa thoughtful, detail-oriented REALTORĀ® with more than two decades of experience helping clients buy and sell homes in-and-around Anne Arundel County and Marylandās eastern shore.
Pam says she first fell in love with Marylandās waterfront area after moving here with her parents during her senior year of high school. Then, she got to know the area even better while taking college classes and working in the evenings for the real estate agents who had sold her parents their home. She says it was a quaint, little āboutique brokerageā in downtown Annapolis.
After attending college, Pam worked for many years in the banking and mortgage industries. She also worked as the business manager for a local construction company.Ā But, over the years, Pam says her thoughts would often return to her experience at that boutique brokerage. And she always kept the idea of buying and selling real estate in the back of her mind.
Eventually, as her children got older, Pam decided it was time to channel all her business and project-management skills into the career sheād always been dreaming ofā¦
She started out at a real estate agency that specialized in securing short-term rentals for executives in Annapolisā historic district. But she quickly branched out to help home buyers and sellers, too. And, now, as a full-time agent with The Bob & Ronna Group, Pam helps clients buy and sell high-end waterfront homesā¦starter homesā¦condosā¦and everything in between. āI do it all,ā she says.
Of course, Pam has seen a lot of changes in the market since she first started out, āYou canāt even put onto paper all the lessons Iāve learned over the years. Everybody has to start somewhere. But I would say my experience helps me spot little problems before they become big problems for my clients.ā
For one, Pam encourages her clients to refine their āwish listā to include just three or four items. āAnd really,ā she says, āyour desired location should always go at the very top of the list. Because thatās something you canāt change. Then, when you see a home in the area you like, you need to be ready to put your best foot forward to get it.ā

When not working with clients, Pam enjoys practicing yoga, taking spin classes, and meeting up with friends in downtown Annapolis for some good food and music at Middletonās Tavern or the Boatyard Bar & Grill. Of course, when she wants to grab a slice of pizza and a glass of wine, she heads to Vin 909. On weekends, you can also find Pam on the sidelines or court-side cheering on her seven grandkids.
