Meet Jessica Maurice—a cool, calm, and collected REALTOR® with experience in nearly every phase of the homebuying and selling process… from appraisals and market assessments to mortgages and refinancing.

Originally from Catonsville, Jessica grew up talking about real estate around the kitchen table, as her dad owned several title companies. Then, after receiving her degree, she went straight to work for a mortgage company, learning about the intricacies of home financing. She considers her experience putting together VA loans especially meaningful.

Eventually, Jessica decided it was time to leverage her in-depth knowledge of the business side of the industry and get her Real Estate license. And, today, as a REALTOR® with The Bob & Ronna Group, she helps her clients avoid the paperwork snags that are all too common in the real estate world. She says, “when my clients find a home they love, I’m there to help make sure they win the contract and get through the process smoothly.”

Her extensive experience performing home appraisals, in particular, has proven invaluable to her clients. She says, “I can help my buyers avoid getting too excited about an overpriced home. And on the flip side, when I see a real deal… I can tell them that too. It allows them to settle on a house with confidence, knowing their investment was a good value.”

 When it comes to giving advice to her clients, Jessica says there are two big pieces she shares with everyone…

 First and foremost, get preapproved. She says you just can’t win any contracts without a solid preapproval letter from a local, trusted lender.

 The second piece of advice is to be patient. She says almost no one knows exactly what kind of house they want right out of the gate. “Trust the process,” she says, “and over time you’ll discover exactly what you need and want in a house.”
