Meet Corina Baker, the face of the Veteran & First Responder Friendly Businesses program as well as managing the group's Social Media pages!
Corina came to The Bob and Ronna Group thanks to her uncle, agent Mike Thurnes. She originally intended to work as his assistant, but Bob and Ronna quickly saw her potential to play a much larger role in the company. “The environment is so positive, supportive, and professional,” Corina says. Now, Corina handles much of the Veteran & First Responder Friendly Businesses of Maryland Program. Every day she travels to local businesses and convinces them to sign up for the program, consolidating and adding to veteran discounts across the state. “You have to be really good at feeling people out and knowing what you need to say,” she says. She also spends time in the Marketing Department assisting with numerous tasks!
Corina grew up in a military family and she loves to give back to the community however she can. Besides a passion for her community and marketing, Corina hopes one day to become a licensed EMT or Paramedic. In the long run, she hopes to become a Nurse, specializing in the psychiatric field or a Counselor. She loves to play ultimate frisbee and watch Netflix (her all-time favorite show is The Office), and she has a little 2-year-old tabby named Bea.
